Very soon it will be the month of May and at the end of that month the children will be out of school. 

The real estate selling market begins at that time. People have to move with their children and move them from one school to the new school. Seller’s always want to sell their homes when their yards are green and lush and looking their best. >From the Month of May to the end of August is the busiest time for the real estate market.

If you are Buyer, what Should You do?

#1 and Most Importantly….Call a Mortgage Lender and get pre-qualified. It takes about 10 minutes on the telephone and there is no obligation what so ever. Do your home work and make sure all is well before you waste a lot of your time, gasoline and anyone else’s time by looking first.

#2 Hire a Real Estate Agent to be your Buyer’s Agent and help you find the perfect house and walk you through this process in an expedient and professional manner.

#3 Make sure you pay attention to the items that can cause you problems in buying a home. I have an entire list of the items to watch out for when buying a home and also important items to consider.

Set up an Interview with a Real Estate Agent to provide you with:

• Staging Information
  
  
• Cleaning and Repair Advice
  
  
• A Listing Price and a Net to Seller Information (you will then know what your walk away dollars will be).  A good agent should be able to advise you on exactly what to do and I would recommend that you listen very closely to this advise.  Only the properly priced and totally updated and clean, clean clean homes with good street appeal are selling.
